Why We Made Swimwear for Long Torsos (And Why It Took Us This Long to Talk About It)
There's a moment every tall woman knows. You find a swimsuit you love — the colour, the cut, the fabric — and then you try it on. The straps dig in. The bottom sits too high. The whole thing pulls in ways it was never meant to. You put it back on the rack and tell yourself you'll find something next time.
We heard that story more times than we can count. From athletes. From surfers. From women who'd simply given up on finding a one-piece that actually fit.
So we did something about it.
The Problem With "Standard" Sizing
Most swimwear is designed around a single torso length. It's an industry standard that works for some bodies — but leaves a lot of women behind. For those with a longer torso, the result is constant discomfort: straps that won't sit right, fabric that gaps or pulls, and a fit that never quite feels secure enough to actually move in.
We're a performance-first brand. That means fit isn't just about aesthetics — it's about function. A suit that doesn't sit correctly isn't just uncomfortable, it's a distraction. And when you're in the water, the last thing you should be thinking about is your swimsuit.
How We Approached It
We didn't just add a few centimetres to an existing pattern and call it done. We went back to the drawing board — working with real women across a range of heights and proportions to understand exactly where the fit was breaking down and why.
The result is a longer body length that distributes fabric correctly across the torso, adjusted strap placement that sits naturally on the shoulder, and a silhouette that's designed to move with you — not against you.
Who It's For
If you've ever had to size up just to get length (and then deal with everything else being too big), this is for you. If you've avoided one-pieces entirely because nothing ever fit right, this is for you. If you're tall, athletic, or simply built differently than the industry's default — this is for you.
Why Now?
Honestly? Because it should have existed sooner. We're committed to building swimwear that works for more bodies, not fewer. The long torso fit is one piece of that — and it won't be the last.
We're proud of what we've made. We think you'll feel the difference the moment you put it on.
