What sport are you specializing in?
Surf Lifesaving
Describe a typical training day?
I typically do 6-7 training sessions a week. I get up at 4:40am for swim training in the pool, which runs from 5:00 - 6:30am. We usually swim around 5km per session three mornings a week. I then head home for a shower and some breakfast before heading off to school. I try and eat well and stay hydrated all day, as I will have board training in the ocean in the afternoon from 4:00 - 5:30pm twice a week and iron training (swim, run, and board) twice a week, including Saturday mornings. Board training sessions are usually followed by sand or road running.
