What sport are you specialised in?
Surf Life Saving

Can you describe a typical training day?
I usually have a swim session at the pool followed by an arvo board or ski session, although on a Wednesday and Saturday we put all disciplines together for iron training.

Tell us about your favourite training session and discipline?
Most definitely the board, my strength is my starts and this is highlighted during my board races, catching waves on the board after training has become a critical part in developing my skills.

What is your fave pre-race meal?
The night before racing I try and have a meal rich in carbs usually a pesto chicken pasta and the I try and follow it up in the morning with a lite breakfast, sometimes a slice of banana bread and a protein drink.

What Kozii do you like to wear?
By far my favourite is the Elite-X One Piece

How do you feel when you wear Kozii swimwear?
I always feel comfortable and ready to race and train, the vibrant colours and patterns always make it a tough decision when it comes to choosing my pair for the day.

What is your favourite thing to do in Kozii Swimwear?
I spend most my week in the ocean training and I love that I can wear my Kozii swimwear for my pool sessions and in the ocean sessions

What do you like about the new style the Elite X?
I love the new Elite X design, it is not only comfortable but so good for swimming, it allows me to open up my stroke and is one of my favourites by far.

Describe Kozii Swimwear in three words:

1)    Stylish

2)    Comfortable

3)    Great Quality

How does it feel to fly the flag for Kozii swimwear?
It is such a great feeling being supported by an Aussie owned and made company that not only values their products but the people who wear them, I’ve been a part of the Kozii team for 12 years now and Kay’s a been an integral part in growing supporting my passion for the wonderful sport of Surf Life Saving,

Where can we find you training in your Kozii Swimwear?
I train and compete for Tallebudgera Surf Club under the Wonderful coaches of Karlee Nurthen, Courtney Hancock and Matt Poole, all of which have had an incredible impact on me and my journey so far in our sport.

How many Kozii’s do you have in your closet?
Far too many to name!!

If you could give any young girls some words of wisdom in regard to body confidence, what would it be?
I would like to remind any young female athlete that everyone’s body is different. You are strong and capable of anything. Be proud of yourself no matter the outcome. It has taken me sometime to accept that things don’t just get handed to you in this sport. What I do know is if you put your mind to it, and you are dedicated to your training then everything else follows.
